    Problems with Desert Warrior Products service

    I'm writting this to let you all know of the absolutely terrible experience I had with placing an order for some magazines through DWPs website.

    I ordered 6 m1a Magazones from them in October. My card was charged immediately, but I got no shipping or correspondance from them at all. Two weeks later, I called them and found out the item is on back order and it was discovered that the website had not been updated. While I was willing to wait for the items, it annoyed me that an email wasn't sent when they discovered the error. I was told it could be another 6 weeks. A few weeks after the phone call, I got an email saying the factory was shipping them the following Monday and that it would about three days to process and ship them. A few weeks later, I emailed them and asked about the items. I was cc'd on an email asking someone else to handle the order that day, implying that they have them in stock, but it wasn't taken care of. two weeks after getting that, and nothing else, I emailed them again. This time, I told them that if they didn't get the item to me by the end of the week, I would wish to cancel my order. It had been 2 months and I was getting tired of being told one thing and then having something else happenening. The response I recieved from the next person I was passed to in customer service was that we are all playing the wait game and they have no control over what the factory does so I am being unreasonable and should just wait. When I explained that my biggest problem wasn't waiting, but rather having a reasonable expecation several times that my item will be shipped and then having nothing show up. I thought it was very unprofessional to say that my item is on it's way then fail to tell me that there was in issue and it's back to waiting. When it didn't arrive on time, I told them to cancel my order and give me a refund. I was told it should process on December 9th. A week later, when it hadn't proccessed, I emailed them again and was told it takes 14 business days to process. It has been 16 and still I haven't recieved a refund or any information from them explaining why. I am going to have to file a complaint with my credit card comany later this week to get the charges removed.

    In the mean time, I ordered 8 of the same magazines, made by the same company, from Brownells the day I told them to cancel my order. The price was the same, but shipping was less. I had the mags in my hand that same week. I will never order anything from DWP again.

    Please be warry of this company. They are clearly not interested in helping the customers and clearly incapable of simple communication within their own company or with their customers. If there is ever an issue, it will become a nightmare. In the conversations I had with them, they clearly didn't care at all about my experience with them and they were obviouslly annoyed that I even dared email them after I didn't get my order, even though they were the ones to tell me I should have.

    Well that sucks
    The liberal see's the glass as half full and tries to take more.
    The conservative see's glass as half empty and tries to keep it that way.
    I'm with the people on the side just pouring water in the glass trying to get a drink!
