Airgun target practice, the best $120 bux I ever spent

I bought a IZH-60 from pyramid air along with a gamo pellet trap and targets over Christmas.
    Rifle looks like this:

I set up a ~9M range in my garage and have been practicing trigger/sight picture.

With RWS Meisterkugeln Pistol 7.0 Grains, Wadcutter pellets, I am getting about 0.3-0.35 of an inch, the rifle should be good for maybe 0.25 inches, but currently I am using the blade/notch sights, my grouping should improve with the rear peep on its way to me today...

Only issue is that you must hold it very lightly to get it to group, so its not going to be great for positional shooting practice.
    WTB Irish firearms:
old SxS shotguns, Enfields (Irish contract or FF marked), RIC marked carbines or revolvers, odd ball flintlocks.

VZ58 PARTS F/S - I've got everything except magazine parts

Yep! I use a Gamo Silent Cat at ~15 yards into an old archery target in the back yard. Helps alot especially practicing sitting and standing shots

Anything rated over 750 fps (or was that 950?) so you don't get the crack of the sonic boom and they are OK. Some cities have no bb/pellet gun laws so I would check. A silent pellet trap works wonders but are a little pricey. Mine can stop a 22 cal pellet w/o issue (I have put the same pellet through a 1.5" piece of wood).

The upside is some trigger time is better than none. I also have a $25 UMX co2 pistol from Walmart for IAD and just cause

When i first shot it i figured ok its quieter than my old break action but then as i stood and watched my girl shoot it was actually very quiet. Most sound came from the pellet hitting the target and a light thud from the rifle. Its opposite of a braked centerfire. Its quiet everywhere else and seems louder to the shooter. It doesnt get any attn from neghbors over the fence even when theyre outside.
