Your first mistake was shopping at cheaper than dirt. Buy an upper anywhere else and you will have no problem.Comment

It's just CTD being douches. They boycott CA because of our silly laws.
It's no more illegal to ship an upper than it is to ship ant other soulless hulk of metal."Far and away the best prize life has to offer is the chance to work hard at work worth doing." - Theodore Roosevelt

If you want to advertise that you are cheaper than cheaper than dirt, then maybe you should list your prices, instead of forcing people to add items to their cart to see the price. We sell uppers to California all day long, and we're cheaper than cheaper than dirt. Click here to see our selection:

Lot of people like me see that and just go find somewhere else to shop, somewhere that doesn't make us jump through hoops to compare prices.Comment

We'd love to be able to just list out all the low prices we offer on our store, and for 99% of the products on our store, we do just that. Unfortunately, certain manufacturers have what is called a Minimum Advertised Price or MAP policy. Those policies say that we can't advertise below a minimum price on any given item. We can sell at whatever price we like, we just can't advertise that price. One way we comply with that policy is to ask the customer to add the item to their cart to see the price. If you want to advertise that you are cheaper than cheaper than dirt, then maybe you should list your prices, instead of forcing people to add items to their cart to see the price.

If you see a price advertised elsewhere on an item from a manufacturer that has a MAP policy, it means either 1) you are not getting the lowest price on that item, or 2) the dealer is not honoring their agreement with the manufacturer. We already know you want to pay the lowest price, but would you want to do business with a dealer who doesn't honor their commitments?Manufacturer of CA AWB Compliance Products from Oct 2009 to Nov 2018Comment
