Closed - Post Count Anniversary Karma - Closed

The Drawing is Closed - Opie4386 is the lucky winner.

I have achieved the glorious and enviable status of my 3000th post on CalGuns.

In celebration and gratitude for all that CalGuns provides, I would like to give a small gift back to CalGuns.
Standard Catalog of Smith and Wesson, 3rd edition, Supica & Nahas, appears to be in new condition

    http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...f_Smith_Wesson

How can I give a book to an online forum? It works like this. Everyone who would enjoy this book and wants to own it just posts to this thread. Just one post please, anyone posting twice will be disqualified.

On Thursday January 2nd pretty close to Noon I'll post that the entries are closed and choose a recipient based on the number of their post using an online random number generator.

I'll notify the winner by PM and post his name. Winner will provide me the address where he wants to receive the book and I'll spring for postage.

    So who's in?

Another gun forum I'm a member of, RugerForum.com, observes this custom from time to time and calls it "Karma." Anyone know of other forums that do this?

While not in (I wouldn't use it as much as other people), I do know that Weapons Guild does karma giveaways too
            Good karma to you!

I did this several years ago on "Biggerhammer" giving away some accessories. It was fun! Maybe my good karma from that give-away I did will return to me now.

I'm in. Thats a very nice gesture as others have said.

Not gun related, but NAXJA (North American XJ Association -- XJ=Jeep Cherokee)) has a Karma thread for people giving away extra parts and accessories that they don't need.
