Now you can bring a knife to a gun fight and prove that adage completely wrong.

Yeah and I got him one too. I just choose to post the bayonet because I knew it would annoy the haters.

Yeah because knives are sooooo stupid right

Some people take things way to serious. Its not like he has 20 other guns.

When I bought my SP-01 back in 2009, CZ sold a rail attachment for it. A big heavy chunk of steel with four points for breaking glass or jaws with. Also came with a bayonet that is removable. Silly sure, did I get one Hell yeah.
Exactly! $16!!! And that blade fits perfect in the palm (off the gun) of the hand with a thumb "arch" behind the blade. Its carbon and SS and is sharp as a razor. If he doesnt want to put it on his hand gun (which rarely leaves the drawer), he can shave with it!...lol

I mean do people actually think this would be carried on the hip all day or at the range practicing or something? I think this is bad *** for a drawer/nighstand gun.

Of course. But I couldnt resist stirring up the "cool" people who think that their gun and way of life is all that matters.

My brother will be the one laughing when all the haters in this thread are holding an empty handgun with a flash light, while a rapist is setting upon them and my brother will be holding an empty gun with a BAYONET while the would be rapist is on the floor with a 3 inch deep wound to his right eye socket!

Que the "it only takes one shot" comments in 3....2....1

It would be "Dorking in a No Dork Zone" in my opinion.

No, not actually. I had already mentally prepared myself for responses like yours thats why. Your a typical calgun cynic and I expected that from an item like this. I had foreseen the "anti tacticool" (whatever tacticool means anyways) blow hards leaving responses in this thread, so I proceeded to post knowing what it would bring. I can wade through a ton of BS to decipher the good.

All I wanted was to see what people thought, cynics or not. Thats what chat boards are for right? You and every other person here has an opinion. Its just that your opinion is typical of the traditional gun owning cynic.

God forbid someone puts a bayonet on a pistol, oh no, what shall we ever do? You act like I own all the tactical gear in the book. Either way it was a gift for my brother who has MULTIPLE firearms. So god forbid ONE has a bayonet for ****s and giggles.

Word of advice, start taking life a little less seriously

See thats the best part, the gun can be stood on its barrel, with the bayonet stuck in the top of the dresser, while the grip of the pistol is upright for easy access

Kinda like the sword in the stone

But anyways, it has a sheath. Not a very well made sheath but just enough to not cut the crap out of your self...lol

Im guessing my brother will probably go for one of his other guns without the bayonet if he has to defend himself in the dark. Probably the one with the flash light

For buying a bayonet for his brother? It would probably be a very emotional heart felt piece.

It was a choice between the bayonet and this. I went with the bayonet due to budget concerns.

If you need help with any stragglers, call a friend, because it's likely that they have a gun. America in particular have done exceptionally well taking care of the problem, as there are 1.12 guns for every 1 American citizen. So throw a rock, you'll probably hit a gun, pick up that gun, then shoot a zombie.
