Century arms CS issues. Pics added

I bought a OPAP M70 rifle from classic city firearms. I thought the rifle initially had only slight front sight cant. Now that I took it home i noticed it has cant to the rear sight leaf.

I called century arms they're willing to fix it. They said due to " restrictions" i wouldnt be able to ship it to them directly, but I have to go through an FFL??? WTF i know its a policy vs a law, i even explained the penal code to her.

Im never buying anything from century or classic city ( David) again.

Have you tried taking it Classic City Firearms and telling them your problem and seeing if they'll ship it for you no charge?

Most FFL's I've dealt with would ship it for a warranty issue on a firearm they sold so recently.

Try shooting the rifle first..... In reality it will probably shoot just fine, and not need replacing...

I think you should shoot it first and call it a day. if you want a perfect rifle, build it yourself.

didn't think your problem was that serious, your rear sight would bother the hell out of me. maybe try contacting someone in the gunsmithing section?

Is the rear sight seating all the way in? There could be some sort of debris inside the slot/holes where it sits.

Front site looks fine. Rear site block looks fine. Rear Leaf Sight is buggered.

As someone said.. dirt and dust preventing proper seating or bent rear leaf.

Everything else looks to be within spec.

It is possible that it has been bent. I've seen that. Is the spacing between the ears that go into the front trunnion equal? Use a straight edge to check if it is level.

Also a pic of the actual RSB ears where it fits in.. gunk? Out of shape, etc.
