Question about AR-15 Piston Driven upper

I have a question about piston driven AR's.

I purchased a piston driven system without the upper reciever and was wondering if the standard upper reciever will accept the piston driven system?
or do I need to purchase a Piston upper? is there even such a thing?

I dont want to buy an upper and have it not be compatible.

The kit I bought came with the gasblock, rod and bolt.

Receivers are the same. You just have to be sure to buy a compatible handguard.

If you got an Adams Arms kit then it will also have a bushing that goes in the upper to support the operating rod through the gas tube hole. Other than that any upper will work.
