Another store on GunBroker needs policy changing

So I was monitoring the Upstate Armory thread here closely and saw the power of the California people really make a positive change. Well, here's another:

The auction was posted by Special Weapons, makers of H&K style flats, receivers, parts, what have you. In all caps he clearly states:

WE DO NOT SHIP RECEIVERS INTO CALIFORNIA PERIOD DO NOT ASK US TO IF THE GUN IS NOT LEGAL WE WILL ALSO NOT SHIP THE RECEIVER....WE ARE NOT WILLING TO RISK OUR BUSINESS OVER A RECEIVER SALE
Last time I checked, a stripped SW94 receiver isn't banned by feature or by name, so what gives with this ignorant statement? Granted, it would be just as easy to fire off an email to Chris at Lan World and ask him to supply a bare receiver, a PTR, CA, or Vector clone, but don't you think this qualifies for email barrage in an effort to change opinion?

We gotta keep the momentum going don't you think?

the problem with that seller is that its none other then Todd bailey, you would have a better chance of getting the US senate to repeal the firearm owner protection act of 1986 then getting him to change his mind.

try it though, see how many times he'll tell you to go F off (i've tried )

This seller isn't worth it as it seems like his business isn't primarily ran off gunbroker, besides, he doesn't exactly have stellar reviews:

Haha, yeah I knew Todd Bailey ran SW, Bobcat, and Coharie, and yes I did vaguely know of his poor reputation. I just didn't realize he was so against selling to Californians. Thanks for providing this link...it's a comical read!

Bummer, I didn't know he was associated with Top Notch. My 9mm UMP barrel is TN....I hope it works.

I have never dealt with Bailey but quoting ripoffreport means nothing. The owner, Ed Magedson is a scumbag who uses unconfirmed reports to extort moneys from businesses that end up on his website. Google his name and you will see.

Same for the better buisness bureau, the only way to get anything higher than a C is to pay them.

Ive never dealt with Todd either but I have heard nothing but bad about him. He is a horrible buisness man and loves to use the F word. I think Coharie is ran by someone else. Ive heard people saw SW is crap but they liked Coharie. I talked to the owner of top notch on the phone and he was really nice and helpful I think I remember him saying he was a relative of Todd but it was awhile ago so not for sure. I hate these punks outside California who dont know our laws and are so afraid. We really should be mad at our poli****sans who put these stupid laws into effect. The newest law they just passed July 1 is scarring alot of FFl's away. It requires them to have a special permit to ship firearms into California. We need to support the FFL dealers like Cold War Shooters who don't give up on California.
