    PRVI Partizan vs PMC 308

Any opinions as to which is better?

my understanding is that the Privi Partizan is loaded to higher pressures as in Europe a rifle that has a millimeter designation is deemed military and not available for civilians. So, the manufacturers develop .308 rifles instead. Same thing, I know, but it allows the "military spec" ammo and firearms to be more readily available to the subjects of the crown.
But the point is, the European ammo is often loaded to higher pressures than the .308 that is American in origin (a la PMC).

      For example

      PMC 147 grain
PMC Bronze 308 Winchester Ammo 147 Grain FMJ at Target Sports USA with free shipping available. Enjoy deals on 308 Winchester ammo for sale.|^||^|

      Privi Partizan 145 grain
Buy bulk ammo for sale with free shipping at Target Sports USA. Enjoy great deals on cheap ammunition including 22lR ammo, 9mm & 5.56mm ammo.

I have had great luck with all the Privi I have used (including the PPU sub brand).

Both shoot like crap in my bolt action… but the PRVI brass for reloading has been fantastic.

I was actually really impressed with PPU. Very reliable and somewhat accurate. Great for target shooting.

Given a choice I'd take the PMC. But, I've shot both and have no problems with the PRVI. Actually, if it doesn't sell out I'll be ordering some PRVI after XMAS.

Ive never shot the prvi, but would like to try some. The pmc has done well for me and I've shot about 200 through my bolt gun

Both shoot well in my guns. I stock both brands in all the calibers I can. I use it for cheap range ammo.

                Prvi is loaded hotter.
PMC is probably some of the lightest loaded stuff I've shot in .308, only thing lighter I can think of is Mag-tech. That magtech stuff wont even cycle my LR308

The PPU I've shot were only 4moa in 3 different guns. Don't know why but everything else, even federal bulk, were 1moa or less. So they're just used for blasting. I've also shot their prvi match with the same bad results. At least try one box and see if your gun likes it.

Have you tried to reload the PMC brass or checked the case consistency by any chance?

Both are reliable. Neither are very accurate.

Why?! Are there reloading horror stories with PMC?
I haven't reloaded any yet, but I have over 200 pieces of brass in cue...

Yup... PPU wasn't 4 MOA bad for me... but it wasn't consistent enough to use on anything except for bangin steel or blaster ammo.

                            Factory PPU

I bought 500 rounds of PRVI and only about 10-15% cycled the action in my M1A. It fired, but didn't cycle the action.
