False Dissapators still give you rifle length sight radius and rifle length barrel coverage. They have two gas blocks, one for the gas tap and one for the front sight. the forward one also holds the handguards in place.

True disaptors also give faster cooling for which the name is derived from. they have one gas block which is both the gas tap and sight. Also holds the handguards in place.

All rifles need a properly tuned buffer system, so that is going to happen in all custom builds. Recce, Dissy, Mid and a few others are custom builds not to a spec which fits into the natural design of the AR15 system.
