I have stayed away from this company because of what I've read on this forum.
What are they doing right that lets them make enough money to expand?
I've read the posts with all the stories but they still manage.
Anyone have any knowledge they want to share?

You're better of with a $400 .308 unless you plan on taking out taliban from 2000 yards away haha

LOL, well that's one way of putting it.

Most people aren't aware of calguns, and even out of the ones that do, the people who pay attention to the forum are even less, and those who remember threads griping about crappy shops is still fewer.

The original location likely doesn't have such massive CS **** ups like the one about reporting customers to the DOJ very often, it's just that the magnitude of the problems when they do happen is what pisses people off the most. Even if people do get crappy service there on a regular basis, they probably don't know any better. For example, up in the bay area I've run into people who don't know there are more than 2-3 gun shops. Specifically in my area, the only places that come to mind if you ask people are Irvington Arms(now Annie's Guns), Targetmasters, and Reed's. Yet off the top of my head I can think of 10 within a few minutes drive of eachother. Without knowing the local FFL situation in vacaville, it may very well be similar.

Yup. Mike's been releasing teasers on Tracy Rifle and Pistol's facebook page for the past month or so.

Got excited till I read about Guns Fishing Etc. and caught up on the other thread with them reporting not one but two people to the DOJ for no reason. One only contact them through email to give them a heads up on this forum, the other a paying customer. Dublin's pretty small and it'd be nice to hit the range with some coworkers after work, but yeah...I'm not gonna bother with that. Might stop in and give them a piece of my mind though...
