You guys think this is a good price that i should follow up on or a "too good to be true price" that is likely a scam?

I ask you guys because your not the ones dropping over a grand on a rifle. Wanted some fresh prospective

Has factory flash suppressor/hider and detachable magazine. [PC 30515(a)(1)(E)]

The CA legal version of the Springfield Armory M-1A has a factory muzzle brake. Which the rifle in the picture does not have.



Penal Code 30515
(a) Notwithstanding Section 30510, "assault weapon" also means any of the following:
(1) A semiautomatic, centerfire rifle that has the capacity to accept a detachable magazine and any one of the following:
(A) A pistol grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action of the weapon.
(B) A thumbhole stock.
(C) A folding or telescoping stock.
(D) A grenade launcher or flare launcher.
(E) A flash suppressor.
(F) A forward pistol grip.
(2) A semiautomatic, centerfire rifle that has a fixed magazine with the capacity to accept more than 10 rounds.
(3) A semiautomatic, centerfire rifle that has an overall length of less than 30 inches.

so im not allowed to get this gun because it has a flash hider instead of a mussel break, which are effectively the same things. And i should be less worried that it's a scam and more worried that it's an ATF bait. lol.

You can buy the "Cal Muzzle Brake" from the manufacture for $100 including the wrench used to change them and then you do not need the mag lock either.
Then it is not an AW.
As far as the price. Maybe someone just needs to sell it bad?

It's probably a scam. I found a M1A that was supposed to be in SF one time. After several emails, when I asked to meet up for a FTF purchase then all of a sudden it was in Texas.
