So I get this email Saturday...

stating that I have package coming from Bison Armory. Check the tracking number and its sitting in the UPS store. Cool.

Flash forward to this morning and IT'S STILL THERE! Ship it, dammit! I ordered an upper back in October and wrote it off thinking I wouldn't see it until after the holidays. Now that it is in the system it can't get here fast enough.

*sigh* I miss the old days when you never knew when stuff would arrive...kinda but not really.

I know the feeling man. You order it and just forget about it for a while, time goes by quickly, but by the time it gets to your UPS store pending for delivery every minute just goes by slowly. Congrats on getting your Xmas gift. Post pictures when you get it

Since when was the UPS Store part of the delivery route? Is this a rural area thing? UPS Stores were Mailbox Etc stores prior to a few years ago. That means privately owned and operated but now with "UPS Store" branding.

It's in Vancouver, WA so guessing that it is a rural thing. Still doesn't show as being picked up from the store.

Supposed to be delivered Tuesday but I'll be damned how its gonna make that if it's still sitting way up there.

I just had one that was in limbo for 4 days somewhere between Cerritos and Sacramento.

Possibly it was misdirected and is sitting there until someone notices and sends it on it's merry way to you.

I once watched a package make a very convoluted journy to my house.

                    This one:
                    1 x 16" Recon 6.8 Upper with Modular Forearm
(Barrel Finish: Bead Blast +$20, Upper Receiver: Bison Armory Forged, Forearm: Troy Alpha 13" +$25, Muzzle Options: PRI QC Brake Black Tapered +$80, Bolt Options: Standard 6.8 bolt, Bolt Carrier: Young Mfg Phosphate +$80, Stake Carrier: Yes, Gas Block: Bison Armory Low Pro, Pin Gas Block: No, Charging Handle: Vltor BCM Gunfighter w/ Med Latch + $45)
And before anyone jumps up and down about Troy, I ordered this in October and hadn't heard about the flap.....plus, it's the rail I really wanted on this gun.

You need to get on that reloading! Lots of empty brass in various stages or completion just sitting around.

                        Oh... Nice rifle too!

that is a very unique looking stock, but how strong of a support is that being held on by just 1 screw?

Its the Thordsen FRS-15. And I will let you know when I get a chance to make it go bang. But it's featureless so I am hoping for the best. Feels better than the Hammerhead grip on my other featureless.
