Decided to get a rifle today.
Had checked their website last night double checking their store hours. Met up with another cgner then called closet Turners.
No answer what so ever. Called numerous times still no answer. Buddy said "well it is Turners but that's bad even for them." Then called another Turners. Same thing, no answer at all. Then called a 3rd Turners and again no answer what so ever. No messages no nothing. Did the DOJ raid them? Did they go out of business?
Check the website and they seem to still be in business. So what the hell! We finally drive over to nearest Turners and their closed. What the hell! Walk up and they have a sign saying they closed today at 3pm. Really? No message, nothing on the website just all Turners stores apparently decided to close early today. Several other people didn't know either as when we were in the lot others kept walking to the closed Turners.
So what's with the post? Well hopefully someone from Turners reads this and understands the supreme lack of professionalism in closing it's stores without warning. Yes, a sign was posted but not all of us go to Turners everyday to see if they have closing signs for future days. As infamous as Turners is for it's less than stellar service this is just ridiculous. A mom and pop LGS maybe understandable but Turners?
So Turners, you're big enough now were you may want to consider running your business with a decent degree of professionalism. Most chains warn of expected closings. It's common courtesy to it's customers. At least a phone message or something would have been appropriate.
As for everyone saying "then don't shop at Turners" that's not the answer. Turners can step up their game a bit and just be more professional. Turners has a good deal of potential and I just hate to see them make amateur mistakes like not notifying customers of closures that just reinforces the saying "it's Turners, what do you expect?". One message on their phone line is all it would have taken.
Rant off.
