I'll be taking an old junker of a Sears bolt action shotgun.

        LAPD Northeast Area
        Los Angeles Fire Department
        Frank Hotchkins Training Academy
        1700 Stadium Way
        Los Angeles, CA 90012

        South Los Angeles
        LAPD Harbor Area
        Park & Ride Parking Lot
        1300 West Pacific Coast Highway
        Wilmington, CA 90744

        Valley
        LAPD Van Nuys Area
        Van Nuys Masonic Temple
        14750 Sherman Way

Why the hell are you guys going to participate/support this socialist BS? Just on a matter of principle I wouldn't even turn in a worn-out Jennings for a gift card. When you dolts go drop off these clunkers and get your gift card, that money comes from a budget or funding somewhere, beit gov't or anti-gun groups. That expenditure makes gun buybacks get MORE funding later on. Sell the gun to someone outside your POS state or keep the gun for a rainy day, but don't go off playing into the anti-gunners hands. FFS people, wake up

I know this has been covered before but it irritates the sh*t out of me that all these, well most these people will be breaking laws (No locked containers etc.) bringing these firearms to the drop point.

If anything, we should be trying to organize Calgunners to get a FFL out there and intercept some of the more classic, historical, valuable guns that people carelessly intend to throw away.

We should fight and compete against these programs, not exploit them for government handouts at taxpayer expense...
"The fundamental point [against gun control] is this: Do you take away the liberties of all, do you assume the guilt of all, because some people cannot handle that freedom properly? Imagine if you did, how many other freedoms would have to be taken away." - Peter Hitchens.

There are cgn FFL's that don't have brick and mortar stores. Some of them have been known to go out and grab some deals. Remember before Jan 1st there's still cash and carry as well. I might be down to go and rescue a few pieces if others know the regs and are going.

I must state my stance again. Any participation in this by a person concerned with 2A rights is an act of heresy.

the target range is 2 miles from there, probably the best spot for PPT. I am unfamiliar with the practice, what are the Cash & Carry Laws?
