For my final paper, the topic is to "...pick a topic or issue you believe the news media in general has done a poor job of either covering or adequately explaining."
The topic I chose to write on is "The Demonization of Firearms By The Media". I have found several older posts on Calguns relating to this topic. I would like to limit media stories and statistics referenced to items published within the past year, which I know will be many. I'm not looking for anyone to write my paper of course, I'm just looking for good material to reference. What sources do you suggest I strongly refer to and strongly avoid? I can always change my title due to the obvious strong leanings, if persuasive suggestions are made to do so.
