    Ruger- Best Customer service?

Yes, I think they do have the best customer service. Reading on other forums how Ruger has gone way above other Manufacturers. I had an issue with my SR40c. I had my pistol back in my hands in 4 days after I shipped it to them. What other Manufacturer is that fast. Oh, it's been perfect ever since.
And on Concealed Carry forum, there's a guy that just did not like his SR45. He wanted their 1911. They gave him full credit towards a new 1911 and included the tax!
Let's hear about stellar CS from other Manufacturers.

I had to use Ruger's CS twice and they were OUTSTANDING both times. Shipping was on their dime both ways, all three times (pistol went twice).

When they ended up replacing my wife's SR22 pistol they even reimbursed me for the second DROS.

On my 10/22TD they mounted a set of their Fire Sights to it for free, when all I had asked them to do was throw the set I said I would buy in the box to save on shipping. They didn't even charge for the cost of the sights.

In a similar vein, Rock Island, Para-Ord and Taurus have all also treated me VERY well as far as CS goes. Kimber on the other hand was worthless and I still have the defective pistol to prove it.

I set me SR40c in for a light strike problem, took less than a week and they replaced everything but lower with new pieces.

I did have 1 gripe though. I shipped the pistol in a nice box with cut out foam for the pistol and magazine, on the return it was in a plastic bag flopping about in a box that was way to big.

I've only had to use them once. After talking me through a couple fix attempts they emailed me a prepaid shipping envoice and I had the gun back in 2 weeks. Fixed!

I WOULD like to see more detailed description of the fix though. They "replaced the extractor." OK. That's fine. The also "repaired 4 magazines."

              OK. What did they do?

I sent in a 10/22 TD with FTF/FTE issues right out of the box. It took 3 weeks to resolve the issue (2 weeks in ground transit, 1 week at the factory). CS did replace a few parts, but after all that time and wait, issues still persisted!

Ended up fixing the issue myself in 10 minutes with a $1 Scotch Brite pad....

Still a little bitter about that experience. Oh well, the ONLY bright side to this situation was I got an extra TD backpack complete with accessories!
