    Best DROS experience ever!!

Some will hate that I just bought a Ruger Takedown from Dicks Sporting Goods, oh well!

It was the hands down fastest DROS I've ever experienced. Not to mention they actually had a Ruger Takedown in stock for an incredible price.

I had to be somewhere at 10am and was as the store looking around at 9:15. Saw they had two left after getting in around 5 I think. Couldnt put it on hold. Said I'll take it at 9:25 and was in my car at 9:45....that also including signing up for their bonus card and an extra step going to the back for a spotting scope.

Daniel at the Dublin Ca Dicks Sporting Goods is the man!

    Awesome!

I have had many similar experiences a LGS, decide what I want and fill out the paperwork. That usually is the most time consuming part of the process, filling out the paperwork. Then, its the dreaded 10 day wait!!!

Might you PM me what they are priced at?

My fastest DROS time was 15 minutes in and out of the store.
Ironically, it was my first DROS experience.
It was at Straightline Tactical in Anaheim.

I had a great one the other day. Met a guy in the parking lot, fondled the item, gave him some cash and walked away. It wasn't C&R and it was awesome as it usually is.

The dros process gets easier the more you do it. I've gotten pretty fast at it and my lgs is pretty fast also!

Great buy OP. Glad to hear you had a great experience.

The best experience I had was at Coyote Valley Sporting Clays in South, South San Jose or North, North Morgan Hill or Madrone depending how old school you are or what you claim to be your city's territory.

Very fast very smooth transaction. The time it took was how long it took for me to fill out the paperwork. I would say I was done in 10 minutes +/- 1-2 minutes.

Then after I had the receipt, she said..... "You want to shoot it?". That took me by surprise. She said that as long as I don't leave the property with it I can shoot it as much or as little as I want during my 10 days.

I always have a great time there. It is a cool place. If you are into sporting clays, trap, five stand and/or skeet... give them a try. They have a nice place and a great choice of mid to high end shotguns.

I wouldn't want to support dicks sporting goods, I'd take my money else where.
