I go every year. Our house is 2 hour drive from the AZ state fairgrounds so we go to every gun show.

But this year I'm staying home. Our daughter is only 2 weeks old, and our son is at the peak of his terrible 2's. So I'm not leaving the wife to deal with the stress home alone.

So how big is this show in comparison to the regular Crossroads shows? What makes it different? I'm thinking of going if it's worth it. I'm looking for a gun show that is most reminiscent of the old Great Western shows, does this one fit that bill to any degree at all? I wont waste my time and money if it's just a little bigger than a regular monthly Crossroads show.
For you veterans of this show please tell me more about it and any advice on local motels to stay in or avoid. Thanks in advance.

This show is like the the old Pomona gunshow with four or five buildings at a state fairgrounds. Very close to downtown. This is put on by crossroads of the west and is one of their largest shows in the west.

Ill be staying at the Hyatt Regency Phoenix.

BTW, is one allowed to carry there, or is it a gun-free zone of sorts?
