Plano All Weather 42-Inch model codes?

I have been shopping the black Friday adds and have seen some deals on "All Weather 42" Case"

    #108442 "Turners add & online" $70 to 80
    #108420 "online" $100+
    # NRA Model $135+

The sizes are the same. Is there something in the specs sheet I'm over looking? Or is it just colors and marketing?

    Thanks calguners.....

If you are looking for an all weather case and expect it will be used in all weather, get a real all weather case, like a Pelican 1720. If you are just looking for a hard shell case look to Flambeau

It's all marketing and cosmetics that's why there is a wide range of prices for the same case. From the youtube review I watch the plastic flops as in not rigid like a pelican and the gasket really doesn't do anything.

Flambeau Tactical 40" AR/MSR Gun Case $40 bucks shipped from Walmart looks like the best bang for your buck for hard shell case.

If you plan on using the case for airline travel then I would go with the Plano for a budget hard shell case.

Midway has the Plano AW 42 for $59.99 but the shipping cost of $20 bucks pushes it to a $80. BTW if you get the case and add 1 gas tube roll pin it bumps the shipping from $20 to $35. You can get the same one for $70 shipped from Cabelas.

Plano also has a double gun AW for about $110 shipped, Game Winner GUN GUARD Double-Scoped Rifle Case with Wheels from Academy. It's 52". This one comes with non pluck foam.

        thanks, for the info...

this case will just be for ridding in my truck bed. Never fly with my guns. If I ever do I would step up to a Pelican case.

Is this Boyt Harness H48 Rifle/Carbine Hard Case on Woot.com for 99.99 a better deal ?

I don't know how long it will last but Walmart has the Flambeau Tactical 40" AR/MSR Gun Case on sale for $29.00

And if you spend more than $35.00 you also get free shipping.
