    X-Mags

If I take my AR to coyote point, or "up on Skyline" could I be "arrested " for using 40 round mags?
Of cource, not full auto.. not quick either.

I believe you would need to have a registered AW to use preban mags in(non BB rifle). Using preban standard capacity mags with a bb rifle will make it an AW.

If I am wrong I will be corrected very quickly I am sure lol.

Putting even an empty "larger then 10 round" magazine into your BB'ed AR in CA is a crime. Let us know how it works out for you.

depends on if you have bullet button or featureless. BB no, featureless maybe, but not worth risking it. just reload 4 times.

If you have a featureless rifle and legally owned 10+ mags you're not breaking any laws.

Op. You are aware DOJ is crawling all around this site, right?
Might want to delete, just sayin'.

The coyote point range club likely will not allow you to use firearms that are not legal under California law.

I am not aware of any place "up on Skyline" on the Peninsula where you can just shoot guns. Do you really mean the Los Altos Rod and Gun club?

Their rangemasters will get really grumpy and kick you out if you try to use a non-legal firearm.
