That's fair. I don't think you were completely wrong and I would love to see all the people saying you were wrong cut down their shotgun barrel to 14" and tell me it's legal.

14"(or "SBS") wasn't specified. I could take a 32" barrel and cut a foot off of it with a hacksaw and still be legal by a fairly wide margin. Plus you've apparently ignored the discussion above regarding C&R SBS and AOWs(which are legal in CA).

I understood the bet as personally sawing off a barrel to a very short size as seen on TV, so my comment still stands. As far as c&r I do not think you can alter it but may buy an altered on. Not sure though someone can help me with that.

Being a sawed off shotgun doesn't mean it has to be an NFA item or even an AOW, both of which can be achieved without sawing anything off of a shotgun.

With all the back and forth you would think we had the bet. If we agree to disagree we both win.

              Happy thanksgiving.

There are also AOW's like the Serbu and you can get it in CA.

False! It is legal in CA. You need an NFA trust and pay a $5 tax stamp. PC armory can help you out with this. Just bought a super shorty bit will be about 9 months before I get to play with it.

See I knew I had some supporters that we were both right.

I still think I'm right with this one.

You seem to be going through a lot of trouble just to avoid paying off a bet you've obviously lost.

How hard is it to admit that you were wrong?
You wouldn't happen to be an elementary school teacher would you?

No I'm not going through alot. I just think I won the bet, so did my friend. We squashed it. Thing is that I don't get. You barely know me but you have no clue who my friend is. I'd like to think that you'd have more compassion for a calgun board member and show some support rather than someone you have no clue is? Anyhow, this thread is ready to die....

Ok, I'm confused. What's the difference between the AOW and a SBS that makes the AOW legal and the SBS illegal? And forgive me if in the case it was written in this post and I somehow missed it.

So... your final statement is to admit both you and your friend are gigantic ****s and dumb***ses? Cool.
