House broken into - gun stolen

    Folks,
Just a reminder, keep your ish locked up. My house was broken into sometime today, the POS made off with my G21.

Long story short, I just got back from a hunting trip and left my hard case in the house so I could clean them before going in the safe. In that brief span of time, this trash jacked a window, opened the case, and stole my pistol - and nothing else.

Obviously, this was someone watching my house.

Btw - if a G21sf with serial number starting with SHE comes up for sale and I don't see it; please send me a pm.

Finally - keep your head on a swivel and lock your gear up tight.

Whats your location? Maybe that would help a bit?

Sorry to hear about that! Hope you get your pistol back, and the perp goes to jail and gets to spend some quality time with an affectionate cellmate.
          Sorry, not sorry.

Already done. Worst part was that my wife got home to find it all out. I was 2 hours away. Police were great, took the report, treated my wife great.

Btw - kudos to the LBPD; you guys are always wonderful to deal with.

I'm pretty sure it's not going to show up here, but wanted to cover all bases, vent, and stress the importance of being vigilant. We're in a nice neighborhood, I'm normally situationally aware, but one slip can really eff things up.

Do you have a homeowners insurance policy or a personal articles policy?

Hope they find the a-hole and your weapon!

Nothing I hate more in this world then a god damn thief

Hopefully they blast themselves in the face with it on accident (or purpose if we're that lucky) and you get it back

Thanks gents; I appreciate the support. I'm fully covered insurance-wise, nothing else is gone, so the money and loss isn't a big deal. It's just the realization that we're all potentially vulnerable, and that if I had just taken the extra care to safe it up; this (maybe) wouldn't have happened.

I do hope either karma, the law, or a fellow homeboy delivers this guy his due.

That's terrible Kevin, sorry to hear about the trouble. Consider a lot of eyes peeled, and hopefully it'll show up.

A lot of times I leave uppers out, ya know, get a little relaxed with stowage. I'll keep it in mind. Maybe ask Santa for another gun cabinet, lol. Hang in there pal.

Damn, the same thing happened to me last Saturday night, down in North San Diego county. All they took were 6k worth of firearms. Next investment is definately a good safe. Always have to learn my lessons the hard way...

Anyways, I hope you get your Glock back and that a**hole f***in pays.

Wow NOS; I'm sorry to hear that - I feel some of your pain; so pissed for you that these POS' stole so much from you.

Karma's a B; I'm comforted to know they'll all get what's coming to them sooner or later.
