As many of you know I have been working with Susan Shelley and her campaign to help organize the CalGuns effort to get her elected in the 45th district. She asked that I pass the following letter along to everyone on this site:
First, I'd like to invite everybody to the election night party at the headquarters: 20121 Ventura Blvd., Suite 206, Woodland Hills, just west of Winnetka Avenue on the north side of the street @ 8:30pm.
My thanks to the Calguns community for your support, for your enthusiasm, and most of all for standing up for our constitutional rights. The Constitution is not self-enforcing. It needs tough, courageous Americans to hold government officials to their oath of office. Our constitutional rights are frequently inconvenient for government officials. That's not a problem to be solved. It's the Founders' design, and it has secured freedom in this country for more than two hundred years.
The Calguns community takes that legacy seriously. I'm proud to stand with you.
Thank you again.
Warm regards,
Susan Shelley
