Moving to next buyer

I posted my handgun for sale in the sales area. However if the person who said they wanted it doesn't respond back, what is the acceptable time to move to the next buyer. I have never sold anything in calguns and don't want to be "that guy".

I'd give them 24 hours to respond. Also if you go their profile page you can see the last time they logged on.

I'd wait 24 hours and then send them a pm. If they don't respond by the next day then I would move on. I would still keep it posted. Cash is king.

24hrs is fair. If you're not in a hurry, maybe even a couple days. But you're not obligated to give a ton of time.

No deal is final until both parties agree on amount, time, and location.

I am sure a lot of people post "I'll take it!!" before realizing that they are flat-*** broke". That is their issue, not yours.

Common decency dictates that an affirmative "I'll take it" should be followed by an IMMEDIATE pm. Otherwise I have zero obligation to deal with that person.

To go even further, you can refuse to deal with someone just because. There are people on CG that I would not do a deal with no matter what.
