Decent, light-weight, folding rifle in 5.56?

I really like the VZ2008, but I'm wondering if there's a similar rifle because I have 5.56 coming out of my ears.

I'm in a relatively free state, btw. So I'm not worried about mag locks and such.

Keltec SU16 A, B or CA (or C if you live in a free 2A state) and not do much $...

I just can't bring myself to like those SU16s. It's like the "Mossberg tactical .22" of centerfire sporting rifles.

SU16 is probably the lightest 5.56 folding rifle out there. It's under 5lbs while ultra light AR's and AK's start at 6lbs. .

Daewoo, but they are hard to find. Unfortunately, someone found mine in my safe.

How much do those daewoos go for?

Ha, I have a Sig 5.56 and it is not light. It's my favorite rifle that I own, tho.

My lgs has an AR-180B that looks tempting.

If you can find a saiga 223 convert it and put Folding stock on it.

I'm not real familiar with arsenals.

                          Convert it to what?

Arsenals are already converted. Saiga is the unconverted version. It has a standard rifle stock no pistol grip. I'm not sure but i think i heard arsenal quit making their 223s. Don't quote me on that

It's hard to say since they're so hard to find. Might be $1200, might be less than a thousand.

It's a pretty cool rifle though. Worst thing about it is a 1 in 12" twist. Mine shot M855 into decent 100 yards groups but I never tried it at longer ranges.

Good stuff: Piston driven, adjustable gas system, the upper is drilled and tapped for a scope mount, or you can mount a rail like in the pic, side-folder is like the FN setup so it's super solid and no sproing when you shoot it, and it uses AR mags.
