Free DROS Test?

I have a relative that wants to buy a gun, but he is not sure if he would pass the DROS/background check. I remember seeing a post here in the past that there was a website where you fill out the same info that is required when buying a gun, and it would let you know whether you pass the background check or not.

Does anyone have a link? He would like to know before paying the $25, and having to deal with the hassle of sending the gun back if in fact he can't own a firearm.

It's not always so clear cut. Last year I was prepared to tackle some old legal issues that I had years ago. Contacted an attorney to talk about what it would take. He said before I did anything submit a PFEC. I did and I was good to go. It was a happy day.

^ agreed, but I think in most situations an individual has a pretty good idea if they will pass/fail the check.
