Pelican Cases

Does anybody know if Pelican makes a two rifle case that will contain a scoped M1a AND a Scoped M4?

I have been searching thier site, but they have soooo many cases available. I'm looking at a 1750, but before I purchase one I would like to know for sure if it will work.

The Ruger American (shown) is 42inches and the M1 is 43, so it should work.

+1, They look cool until you lug the thing around. They definitely work but I got rid of mine because it was over kill for me. I would recommend it if I traveled or fly often, but I dont. So I went with a soft sided case.

Not to mentioned that their replacement foam inserts are expensive.

That combo will fit a 1750.

I first cut my 1750 years ago to hold 2 rifles. A scoped bolt gun and a hk91 clone.

The rifles fit- closer to the edge of the case than I would like... but they fit. Your combo would fit better.

I eventually re cut the case to only hold the bolt gun.

Try lifting that case with 2 guns in it.... you'll want 1 gun in there too...

As to "M Lizar" saying replacement foam is expensive....

I say it's worth it.

Not all foams are the same chemical nature. Pelican foam is inert. It will not harm any finish. Some foams are acidic and ruin a blued finish within about 6-8 weeks. (voice of experience)

I had my bolt gun in the pelican hidden in a place with moisture issues for a year. Other things in that area had mold. My rifle in the case was just fine.

If you ever plan on leaving a gun in a case for a while, pelican for sure, maybe MTM would ok. I wouldnt trust hardly any others personally.

1750 is the one brother. Only girls use the wheels on the bottom though.

The 1750 is the way to go. Heavy but they do stack and they have wheels. Makes it easy to carry two of them through an air port.

I use both...

+1 on the Storm series of cases... I prefer them over the standard pelican latches, but both are excellent.

Overkill is nice... I use mine a lot in the desert, cases are exposed to the elements for extended periods of time give piece of mind.

I had fine sand start to collect in other cases like the Plano after sitting on the ground for hours, Pelican provides a good seal from things like that and rain.

These are my top choice for hard use cases... worry free transportation.

I have a Starlight rifle case. They should offer some type of medical plan with the case. Its hard to open and close, but its tough. I've used a hammer to close the latches! I can't imagine two long guns in that heavy thing.

my 1750 case holds my 870 and my model 700 .270. not to metion my springfield 1911 and xd 40 as well. i took all 4 guns with me on the airplane to texas (unfortunately too busy to shoot them while i was out there) but even after the tsa screwed up and didnt push the latches all the way closed, all 4 of my guns were fine.

Thank to all of you for the replies. I'm mostly looking for security while on the road. I have been using soft sided cases, but I would like a good hard sided case with places for real locks. I have some Pelican cases already, none for long guns though. I have a freind who's dad works for Pelican so maybeeeee...........

Even without an insider 'friends dad'..... amazon sub $200 free shipping last I heard. A case with a lifetime warranty except the 'o ring' seal itself. Hard to go wrong....
