Gun mount on truck

so I have this idea you can call me crazy but I wanna set up some kind of mounting system on the back of my truck so I could mount my M1A or 700. I think it would be cool, what you think?

I'm sure if you look hard enough you will find a California Vehicle Code Violation for having a picture of a gun in your truck.
