    Metal scratches

I was wondering if there's a product out there that covers up minor scratches on gun metal?

      What is the finish?

Look into Birchwood Casey products. I know they have things like touch-up pens for bluing.

SS can sometimes be buffed out.

The Birchwood Casey touch-up pen works great on my blue guns and AR rifles. Just touch it on the shiny spots and a few minutes later it blends in and you can't even tell there was any color missing.

With a stainless finish, a brillo pad or some type of rough material works but you really need to be careful when doing this and to go slow. Then you need some type of solution to bring the luster back afterwards. Otherwise you're going to ruin the finish as it'll make the area look dull fast.

You didn't specify coated or raw metal-if stainless polished bright, use a mild grit toothpaste.

The actual value of above $.02 is less than $.01 after taxes.

You can have stainless sandblasted. It works wonders.
