Adding more long guns to DROS that has already been started?

I ordered 2 lowers online and had them shipped to my local FFL (pawn shop with ffl). I went in yesterday to start DROS on them. Now I wait 10 days.

This morning I ordered 3 more lowers online (same lowers, same website) and will have it shipped to same FFL. Will I have to do seperate DROS or can it simply add it on since its still in progress.


I just called them and some guy who doesnt know what he's talking about said I will have to do seperate DROS. I asked him if I can speak with someone there who would know better and he said he's not in right now. So I will call again later but meanwhile somewhere he will know?

Depends on shop. Legally u can but some shops are more strict than others.

Riflegear lets u do it.
Turners doesnt.

There have been some giant pissing threads about this in the past, and about if it matters if they somehow left the DROS "open" or "closed" or Lord knows what. There seems to be a lot of uncertainty about both the legal situation and the logistics.

As bluedsteel says, depends on the shop. Also there's no point in arguing with them, they do it the way they do it and that's how it is.
