    Transporting ammo across state lines

I wasn't sure where to post this.

My mother is coming to visit this xmas from out of state (driving.) I'm wondering of its illegal for her to bring me a bulk of store bought ammo.

It doesn't seem so but I'm not sure when it comes to crossing state lines.

No different than purchasing it through the mail. Legal assuming of course you can posses ammo in the first place and it is not some magic death ray ammo the state says you can't have, like tracer or ap or incendiary.

I bring it in about 3-4 times a year.
