    Firearm Cleaning

Anyone else get that good feeling after you've cleaned and oiled your firearms?
Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

    Absolutely - It's my therapy

Always. It's that feeling you've taken a shower. Squeaky clean and fresh for anyone coming your way.

I have a bad habit of not cleaning my guns. But I recently changed out some parts and I decided to clean them at the same time. I still need to clean my 870, but everything else is clean. I must agree that it is a good feeling knowing that my firearms are clean, oiled and ready to go if I need them.

Oh yeah. Nothing like the smell of a clean and well lubed pistol.

I enjoy cleaning my guns almost as much as I like getting them dirty.

Got a couple of mine vibrating (ultrasonic cleaner) as I write. I think I was running a torture test on my CZ75B; it finally failed to go into battery last weekend!

What is this thing you call cleaning???

I clean mine every so often. Like once a year of 5-10 years. It is just another job to do after the first 20 or so. I tend to do them in the winter when I cannot shoot. It takes 3+ weeks of every day work to do them. I mean all day as I am retired. Just another job to do. I would rather be reloading than cleaning
A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.
