Did she not have any employees at her workplace? HOw did she get alerted to the robbery? Does she not have phones at her establishment?

If i were in the situation i would have probably called the Sherriff's office before leaving my home or have had someone else call in my stead as i left also alerting them of my description and my being armed.

If it was Dave Chapelle, he would have shot him then sprinkled some crack. lol.

Wierd story.

As others have mentioned, I have to wonder are there no land lines (phone) in the town? Why would she walk him down the freeway? How did she know her store was being robbed?

The article as written is not doing her or the gun community any favors outside of her catching a petty thief.

i'm guessing that she heard a ruckus or someone ran and told her? but why no phones in the whole place? and how would they have a sat phone? this story makes no sense.
