    Gun revenues for the State.

Does anybody know how much money goes to Sacramento for our firearms purchase, PPT, transfers?

I'm kind of wonder how much money they are raking in.

I heard a ballpark figure that there are about 1,100 DROS per day - at $25.00 per that's about $10.0 million in DROS alone, not to mention tax on the gun.

Sorry to say, that ain't alot of $$$ these days.

It's a lot of money for a process that is useless. Once people are issued an HSC card and have completed their first DROS, it should require no more.

        Budget docs are at link.

If I understand this doc at all, it looks like the Firearm Safety Fund is the Handgun Roster - that's ~384K revenue. Then there's the Firearms Safety and Enforcement Special Fund, at about $3 million. Dealers' Record of Sale Special Account is about $10 million.

So, maybe $13 million and change?

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!
