Right eye dominate left strongest

I am right eye dominate but my left eye is becoming the stronger of the two. This is really messing with my sight picture, particularly with pistol sights, but with all sights and scopes. They tend to cancel each other out and I can't ####. Anyone have any ideas that may help? I was thinking of some one on one time with an instructor to try and work it out but thought I would search out other solutions too

If you are a right handed shooter, with a dominant left eye, put a piece of scotch tape over your right eye glasses. Keep both eyes open, and focus on the front sight, the target and rear sight can be fuzzy. Your right eye will be tricked into looking, but your left will focus on the front sight. Try around 7 to 10 yards, come up from the low ready, take a flash sight picture and pull the trigger, it's not Bullseye.

If you are messed up with the pistol, it sounds like you don't have a strong dominance. Use a blinder and see how that goes.

Or learn to shoot left handed.

I have the same problem. I'm right handed shooter but with left eye dominance. With your gun unloaded, get in your natural shooting position raise your pistol bring it on target. Keep both eyes open and simply turn your head to the right. Your chin should be touching your right shoulder. You don't need patches, glasses or anything like that. You don't need to squint shut your right eye, your left eye is doing all the work naturally.

Just trying to focus is a #%##. I am a right hand shooter that is right eye dominate it's just that as I start to age the left has become stronger (not dominate). I can't be the only this happens to. It's bad enough I had to get the Dena Dell glasses
