Evening,
The difficulty in obtaining a "CA Legal" rifle is wearing on me. I've been looking for a Beretta 9mm CX4 with PX4 mags for over a year. So far, I'm getting nowhere. Despite the best attempts of certain resellers who have tried to acquire it for me, my safe is bare.

My particular configuration does appear to be available on Gun broker, but the reseller's clearly state they will not ship to CA.

Can someone in the know answer a question for me? Is there any regulation/law restricting the use of more than one FFL? I.E. I purchase the gun, and have the item shipped to an out-of-state FFL who then makes is CA legal. This FFL then transfer the item to a local FFL for pick-up by me.

Anything wrong here?

I fairly sure the seller can bring it to a willing FFL out of state who can make it Cali legal and then ship it to your local shop.)

Just find one out of state go there buy it have it shipped to SSE if off list, if not ship to your FFL

Did that with one. Did contact DOJ first though got an OK little extra hassel but if it's what you want then..........

An to your question ( more than one FFL ) I used 1. nevada 1.Ca so yes, got to pay both though...

I recall reading in another thread that New Frontier Armory in the Vegas area was a good intermediate FFL for CA compliance of Gun Broker purchases.

Have you contacted Riflegear? They have the Beretta 92FS 9mm CX4 Storm on their website CA legal, so they know their way around a CX4.
