    What's your suggestion?

My personal preferences are Sig, H&K, and Glock. Favorite is Des. Eag. Any expert suggestions on some "Badass" handguns?

"Bad-***" handguns? You mean like this?

John Moses Browning invented it a hundred years ago.

The 1911. Still the most "BadA**" gun ever.

Desert Eagles are not awesome. They are pretty neat engineering curiosities, and they launch a big hunk'o'lead downrange, but there's lots of things wrong with them.

Mostly the owners. Too many Rambo and Mall Ninja types. Makes me not want to be "that guy".

Still, I'll probably pick one up eventually for the "neat" factor.

Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.

I am rather partial to the Taurus 1911.

I'm kind of partial to the S&W 460V.
