    Rifle stock fix help

I have an old stock that has split that I would like to fix but not sure the best way. I have tried clamping it and letting it sit for months but didn't help.
It's basically splitting down the center.

Try screwing it together. You'll have to burry the head of the screw enough to fill over it.

Good ol' fashioned Elmer's Wood glue and an assortment of clamps should be all you need. Ditch the duct tape.

NO screws they will split the wood, Don't steam the whole stock it will probably warp.
Epoxy or Acraglas, clamp it good, get some aluminum or brass pins drill through the stock with a smaller the the pin diameter and tap in the pins, they can be cut flush when Epoxy is dry. Google is your friend or YouTube and Larry Potter. Midway usa sells everything for this.

That looks pretty bad... I'd buy a new stock.
