SoCal Guns in La Mesa is closed. Anyone know what happened? I went there yesterday and everything was gone, windows boarded up, and the sign covered up. I had to go a few doors down to the other gun store.

Thanks. I Guess I'll be going up to Convoy now.
That other gun store isn't too bad either. I received great customer service and the old guy that works in there was friendly. I was checking out a SKS they had on display and the old guy went in back for what seemed like forever. He came out and said he had some more SKS's for me to see.sigpic
Then, Sir, we will give them the bayonet! (Stonewall Jackson's reply to Colonel B.E. Bee when he reported that the enemy were beating them back. At the first battle of Bull Run, July 1861)

I can't think of the name but it's in the next parking lot over from the old SoCal Gun store. If you stand in the parking lot at Cosco, look across Fletcher Parkway, and you'll see a big sign that says GUNS!!!That's the place.sigpic

Nope, it's the one across from the La Mesa Costco.... I've been in EC Gun Exchange a few times, and never yet had a good experience. Arrogance, ignorance and lack of service combined didn't impress me.
all the best,
MikeThere are some people that it's just not worth engaging.
It's a muzzle BRAKE, not a muzzle break. Or is your muzzle tired?Comment

It used to be called La Mesa Collectibles. It is now called Fine Firearms.

Rick the owner of La Mesa Collectibles is still there. Very helpful and friendly the times I've been in. If you like cowboy guns, talk to Rick. They have an excellent selection of firearms. I saw lots of Sigs just yesterday, including a gold plated Sig that was pimptastic.
