Question about 223 VMAX and PSP ammo

I see on Freedom Munitions that they list 2 types of ammo:
    - VMAX = Polymer Ballistic Tip
    - PSP = Pointed Soft Point

Can someone tell me if they are legal for use in California and are outdoor ranges generally ok with these? Thanks.

yes and yes. Some ranges don't allow "steel " bullets which spark when hitting rocks and do start wild land fires and may cause damage to bullet traps etc.

California's politicians and unionized government employees are a crime gang that makes the Mexican drug cartels look like a Girl Scout Troop in comparison.

You cannot hunt with them in the Condor Zone. Other than that you should be good to go.
A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.
