New Foregrip Idea

I always liked the idea of something between a vertical foregrip and and a Magpul AFG, so I designed this to fit that role.

It seems to work well with multiple grip types and even as a large handstop.

The curved grip portion is 2.75 inches vertically from the attachment base for reference.

Looking for suggestions for improvement, opinions, comments, anything.

Pics are of the 3D model and of a really rough prototype I threw on my 10/22.

For the right price, I might get one, but how about an ergonomic broomhandle-style, or design that fits on plastic for A2 owners (rubber base)?

Maybe if you draw it in paint first I'll give it a go.
Could be worth some laughs.

nice work.just make sure its strong and the mounting is secure.
wild suggestions...having any hollow spaces be filled with a capped cavity for cleaning kit,extra ammo ...whatever.
also possibly multi-use your product.

that triangle shaped opening I see on the side looks like it would be useful to open a beer with but I don't drink when I shoot.
maybe a root beer.

Haha, out of all of the suggestions I've received from around the internet, you're the only person who asked for a bottle opener. It's a neat idea, but i don't think it would be cost effective to add little metal supports/teeth to grab a cap.

Final product will be glass-infused nylon, so it's very strong.

Don't know that I'd want a bottle opener at the end of my AR. Muzzle wave every one at the range

It looks like I found one for an A2 and it's only $25, so it might not be worth the effort:

Suggestions:

Fill the opening with company logo.

Add a little tab at the top front to keep hand from sliding up further.

If you can make it hinged, it can also be an AFG by flipping it back.

very intriguing. it looks like it might be a good fit for how i grip my AR (half my hand on the handguard, half on a stubby VFG). i'd be interested in testing its ergonomics.
