My wife got me worried today when she was telling me about the government shut down possibly stopping me from getting my new Beretta CX4 Storm that I just bought .
Due to the DOJ being part of the government that controls transfers and such.

Anybody know anything about this?

I've heard it's outlying gov't entities that are effected not the DOJ, DHS, FEMA, etc.

Targetmasters was telling a guy in the shop today that it does not effect them in California

You should be ok, I picked a couple long guns up today...

I was told that it will NOT effect DROS background checks.
Anything defense or police related is not effected.

It should not get affected 'coz we are dealing with CA doj only.

Thousands of DROS initiated every day in CA. Countless of complaints would have been surfaced on this forum if transfers were implicated.
