    As soon as it is on the market for a year and has some real-world assessment, I'll know whether to send the company my money. Having lived through the dot-bomb era, I'm not a fan of promises and vaporware.

    Seems like some folks forgot the bill-of-goods which were sold to "investors" in the '90's, which never did come to fruition...

          In the meantime, watch this talk about gun lock boxes that was given at a hacker convention a few years back.
          There's some good info on various commonly used handgun lockboxes, which you can use to help make your choice on what to get.

            When I compare that against the handgunsafe.com version (no longer made) it is more of a gadget thing.

              It would be alright depending on how thick it is. It's not like the 14g steel that most of these are made of is exactly kryptonite.
