Wow...yes that is a surprise that the FBI released that footage. Looks as if he used a newer 870 express tactical with the barrel mag tube ring further down than the old 870 wingmaster or express models.

The FBI released surveillance footage of the Navy Yard shooter and pics of the weapon (Remington 870 Tactical, sawed off stock) that would fit inside his backpack.

There is a report that the shooters boss actually called his hotel to warn them about his anger issues. And yet that same boss kept him on. There are so many reports about what happened with this guy that shows he should have lost his job and his security access. And never mind the 2 "minor" incidents he had with firearms. 1 incident was where he shot out the tires of a contractors truck. So much is coming out that could have prevented this whole situation. Bad background checks, ignoring signs of his anger issues and hearing voices. And if the gun dealer refused to sell him an AR, why would he still sell him any firearm.
The list goes on an on about this guy, he should have never been able to buy a firearm and should have never had the clearances that he did, let alone a job still.Comment
