The problem with that is that laws RARELY get reversed. I'd rather people become aware and try to stop it before it happens.

Yes, but if he doesn't sign it, it will still become law unless he vetoes the bill.

Most gun owners don't vote or voted for Obama because of name recognition or someone tells them to. The gun owners will pay twice the list price for AR15s and a dollar a round for ammo yet don't belong to or send money to a pro second amendment organization. Gun owners will get what they deserve. Yes I know a minonrity of gun owners do all the right things so this is not pointed at them.

That is the problem. You are glad people dont know whats going on so you can get what you need, never mind that this idea prevalent. If everybody who is actually impacted by upcoming laws; whether by firearms they own, or firearms they want to own, actually stood up and fought, we might not have to hoard lowers.
Yes there might be a great lawsuit that overturns all this, but I want to own firearms in MY lifetime.

Panic appeared to be in full force over the weekend @ RifleGear

People were buying nothing but 80's, ARs, and complete EBRs

This is what concerns me. By not signing he gets to say "I never signed a gun ban" and still gets to have the law in place.

I can't just "keep buying" because of what may happen

maybe I'm not as much of a collector as a lot of the members here, but, I've got plenty of firearms...I'm happy with what I have...if anything, and this has nothing to do with SB374, my next interest in a long gun is probably gonna be a bolt action anyway

not everyone in the firearms world feels they need "X" amount...many, MANY firearms owners have one firearm that they have bought for home self defense...the number of firearm owners start to diminish when you start looking at how many have more than one, or, two, or three...that's why you see less interest, gun owner figures are a bit misleading too

we're divided in the fact that some firearm owners only look at it from a self defense standpoint, they don't see their "right" withering away, whereas, like any other hobby, some owners are more a an enthusiast type, and, collect accordingly

I can't see myself buying more because JB will let SB374 become a law

The stores will get crowded and prices will go up once we know for certain SB374 will become law.

People got burned during the Obamascare with regards to ridiculous markups, so now they are more cautious. A lot of guns prices still have not come all the way back down to normal. AKs for example never returned back to normal pricing.

Of course when and if people catch on the prices will skyrocket on EVERYTHING SEMIAUTO again.
