    Large Ammo Storage Containers

Do you guys know any air-tight storage containers thats good for storing ammo? I'm not talking about the 50 cal ammo can, but something bigger that can hold 1-3+k rounds? I'm not planning to go mobile with it. Or will any airtight container @ homedepot will work?

I use these and they work well. Stackable, inexpensive, durable and, if I have to move them, I can.

If you want to go airtight for long term get a food storage vacuum sealer and make 100 round packets, then you can store the packs in anything. Also makes it easier to keep track of how much ammo you have, counting packs is way easier than counting loose rounds!

They clearly don't know what they are talking about.

Various size cans come up for sale here, and are also available from surplus places. Even online, but the shipping is usually pretty steep. They are great, but make sure they are located where you want them before filling. Once you fill these bad boys with ammo, you're not going to easily move them around...

                For example...

I ziplock my loose rounds in 100 round bags.

Just don't use the "handle" if its full of ammo!
