    10-22 with G36 conversion....legal?

So are they? I have a Ruger and want to put a folding G36 stock kit on it. Are they legal as long as the OAL is good?

Yes. The OAL must be at least 26 inches in shortest firing configuration. Also keep in mind that you can't import or manufacture any 10+ round magazines.

The 10/22 is a rimfire rifle, so it is exempt from California's A/W restrictions on semi-auto centerfire rifles. You just have to worry about California and federal short barreled rifle 26" restrictions.
