I'm looking for places to shoot in the Temecula,CA area. Preferably BLM land or somethng similar. I really do not want to always shoot at an "official" range. I like to go out in the desert sometimes too. Any ideas?

I haven't been there since last year but this place is about a 30 min drive east from the Temecula city limits on Hwy 79. Call the Ranger's Office on the website to confirm that it's open prior to going out there as sometimes they close it when the fire danger rating is up.
