Why did I get banned??

I just got home from from BUYING A GUN OFF A CALGUNS USER and got on here, only to get a screen saying:

You have been banned for the following reason:
And again 'kaendar/Shabazz/etc.'

Date the ban will be lifted: Never

What in the tarnation is up with this? I reckon someone has mistaken me for a troll or someone else? Perhaps an old user with a similar username? I was Baconrepublic.. I just joined the forum a week or 2 ago and dont understand why I was banned. I havent broken any rules to the best of my knowledge, and if I have, can I at least but told what, why, and when before im banned? Im sorry to say but im quite mad and upset. I had met a few guys on here I was going to go shooting with. If this is some mistake please lift the ban. Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this.

I mean, I could see if I could be linked to some sock puppet account, but im a real person, a real contributor. I just bought a rifle today off a user I met on here. Im thinking this is some sort of mistake or misunderstanding.

Im guessing a mod is confusing me for a past or existing member??? The only thing I can think of besides this being an honest mistake is maybe an IP address? I just bought this laptop used off of Craigslist about a month ago, perhaps the guy that owned it before me is keander/shabazz/etc??

well im no troll. this caught me completely off guard. Im a local California resident. I had plans already to meet up with some guys on here from the LA chapter.. im a real person, not a troll account.

Yeah, I might buy that if you didn't share a singular unique IP address with your other accounts, use the same aol.com email and didn't give out the email address from one of your old accounts.

You want to double check those email accounts buddy? I dont even think its possible to register multiple accounts under the same email. I demand to speak with another mod besides Kestryll. This is outrageous. Whoever is above Kestryll, I want to take this up with them. Someone seems to be on a power trip, or is really mistaking me for someone else. I told you I bought a used laptop from a guy off Craigslist. Maybe you werent aware, but IP addresses stay the same for a device.

In that case, Kestryll needs to re think his ban decisions.. Calguns is a prestigious organization from what ive seen, this doesnt make it look good tho, especially when it deals with an active member in the 2A community like myself.

Incorrect. MAC addresses stay the same for devices that have them. IP addresses are unique to you, your location, and your ISP.
